She was a member of the Kalamazoo Kinetic Synchronized Skating team (2006-2013) as well as the Kalamazoo Area High School Skating Team. She excelled in ice dance and earned multiple National Solo Dance medals (Years 2011-2015). Before completing high school, she was a Triple Gold Medalist (Moves in the Field, Free skate, Ice Dance). She enjoyed performing in Nancy Kerrigan’s
“Halloween on Ice” show (2015) and later toured in Disney on Ice’s “Dare to Dream” tour (2016-2017), portraying Ariel, Jasmine and Minnie Mouse as well as her cast role.

Upon returning from Disney on Ice Sarah began coaching while furthering her education at WMU. Sarah has been a basic skills instructor for 8 years and is currently in her 5th year of private lessons. She brings performance experience as well as technique focus to lessons to help skaters present a well-rounded performance. She uses positive reinforcement to enhance her students’ performances and skill levels. Sarah strives to help skaters realize their potential and allow their love of skating to grow. Sarah has served as the director of the Aspire program for two years and is looking forward to directing this year’s Holiday Ice Revue.
