Background
I have been teaching learn-to-skate lessons since 2000 and private lessons and synchronized skating since 2002. I have also been the learn-to-skate Administrative Director since 2011. I grew up on the East side of the state and have been skating since age 3. I attended WMU and was on the Varsity Senior synchronized skating team for 3 years, competing Nationally and Internationally. Using my B.A. in Accounting from WMU, I work full time as a Senior Accountant for an education management organization. I have also co-chaired numerous GKSA events including Skate the Zoo; Kick-Off Classic; 2013, 2016, & 2022 Midwestern & Pacific SynchronizePacific Synchronized Skating Championships; and 2016 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships.Â
Experience
Personally, I have passed Gold Freestyle, Gold Moves-in-the-Field, and Gold Dance. I was also a 3 year Varsity letter winner in synchronized skating at Western Michigan University.
