Background
Laura grew up skating while moving around the country. She attended
Western Michigan University and skated for the WMU Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team and skated for the WMU Senior Synchronized Skating Team. During her time at WMU she was a member of Team USA, won a national medal and served on the WMU Skating board as a board member. Laura Graduated from WMU with a Masters Degree in Literacy Studies and currently works as a reading specialist in Kalamazoo Public Schools at Woodward Elementary. Laura is the current Synchronized Skating Director as well as Head Coach of the Masters and Open Masters Synchronized Skating Teams. Laura also coaches Learn to Skate. She is happy to work with any age and ability.
