Coaching Accomplishments
- Assistant coach of the Western Michigan University Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team – 2022 Sectional Pewter Medalists, 2022 National Championships Bronze Medalists.
- Started coaching private lessons in 2018 and since then I’ve coached skaters in all levels of moves in the field, freestyle, and ice dance.
Background
I started skating in Kalamazoo and I’ve been on the ice for almost 20 years. I grew up competing in freestyle, synchronized skating, and solo ice dance. After graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School, I attended Adrian College. During my time at Adrian, I was a member of the Varsity Senior Synchronized Skating Team and the Intercollegiate Figure Skating Teams. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After graduating, I moved back to Kalamazoo where I now work full time at Eurofins, I’m the assistant coach for Western Michigan University skating teams, and I coach private lessons at GKSA.
Experience
- 6 time international senior synchronized skating competitor, 3-time international silver medalist, 2-time international pewter medalist with Adrian College Senior.
- 4-time national National Synchronized Skating Championships competitor in the Senior category.
- 2019 U.S. National Intercollegiate Final- National Champion in Intermediate Ladies Freeskate and Senior Solo Pattern dance.
- 2018 U.S. National Intercollegiate Final- National Champion in Intermediate Ladies Short Program.
- 2017 and 2018 U.S. Collegiate Championships Intermediate Ladies Champion.
- 2013-2017 National Solo Dance Series Final Medalist in Gold pattern dance, Novice Combined, Bronze pattern dance, and Novice shadow dance.
