Registration Procedures & Class Structure Details

  • Registration Procedure
    • All registrations must pre-registered and paid for via the paypal link. Click HERE to register.
    • No walk-in registrations will be accepted. We also work with several Homeschool Associations in the area.
    • Parent passes must be pre-registered and paid for.  Late adds will not be accepted once registration has closed.
  • About The Classes
    • Classes are offered for ages 3 years and up. Skaters are divided into classes based on age and level.
  • Class structure
    • 1/2 hour instruction, 1/2 supervised practice.
    • *Parent Pass: Parents may choose to skate with their skater during practice time only—a parent pass is $16 per session, numbers permitting.
    • Please arrive 1/2 hour prior to class the first night.
    • Skates are available, if needed.  We do not recommend hockey skates for beginning skaters ages 3-5 years.
    • Skaters should dress warmly, with mittens or gloves.
    • Helmets are highly recommended for beginning level skaters.
    • In the case of our WinterI and Spring Sessions where the class times are listed as 1.5 hours, the first half hour is typically the Snowplow Sam classes.  We cannot guarantee your time frame until all registrations are in. 
    • Please note skaters will be assigned a specific time block of 60 minutes.  I.e., 4:00-5:00, 4:30-5:30.  This is a staggered start to accommodate more skaters.
  • Fees include
    • class time, skate rental, award patches (an award patch is given when the level is completed).
    • Please note : it may take 1 or more sessions to complete a level
  • Learn to Skate USA Membership Fee
    • This fee is a yearly membership fee.  Each skater must be registered with Learn to Skate USA to participate in the learn to skate program.  Must be renewed each year on July 1.  Season: July 1 –June 30.
